Pundamilia
Swahili for zebra
The word safari comes from Swahili and means “journey.” Inspired by this connection, we named our itineraries after animals in Swahili. Each animal reflects the character of a different journey, from Namibia’s desert and coast to adventures across Southern Africa.
Pundamilia means zebra in Swahili. Just as a zebra’s stripes bring contrasting colours together, this journey connects Namibia’s golden desert and Atlantic coast. The name celebrates the contrasts that make this route special.
